If the season ended today, Broncos would pick 2nd overall in 2024 NFL draft

If the season ended today, the Broncos would hold the second overall pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

Three games is a small sample size, but the Denver Broncos are currently on pace for a top-two pick in the 2024 NFL draft.

If the season ended today, the 0-3 Broncos would be set to pick second overall in April’s draft. The 0-3 Chicago Bears would win a tiebreaker over Denver for the No. 1 overall pick due to their easier strength of schedule (.451 compared to the Broncos’ .471).

Two other teams are 0-3 — the Minnesota Vikings (.480) and Carolina Panthers (.549). Chicago will also hold the Panthers’ first-round pick via trade.

Here’s a look at the current order of the top ten picks in 2024, courtesy of Tankathon.com:

1. Chicago Bears (0-3)
2. Denver Broncos (0-3)
3. Minnesota Vikings (0-3)
4. Chicago Bears (via Carolina Panthers, 0-3)
5. Los Angeles Chargers (1-2)
6. Las Vegas Raiders (1-2)
7. Arizona Cardinals (via Houston Texans, 1-2)
8. Tennessee Titans (1-2)
9.
Cincinnati Bengals (0-2)
10. Jacksonville Jaguars (1-2)

The Broncos currently have five picks to use in the 2024 NFL draft.
