KNOXVILLE — The Tennessee Ice Vols hockey club added two more signees to its 2020 signing class.
Tennessee picked up goaltender Aiden Vanston and defenseman Nolan Carlson.
Vanston played at Brentwood High School in Middle Tennessee while Carlson is transferring from Stonehill College in Easton, Massachusetts.
Carlson is a native of Seekonk, a town in Massachusetts.
Vanston and Carlson join a signing class at Tennessee that includes Maclain Chaney (a left winger from San Jose, Calif.); E.J. Paulhardt (a defenseman from Canton, Ohio); Parker Wyatt (a forward from Maine) and Matt Megazzini (a forward from Illinois).
The Ice Vols were founded in 1966 and boast being the oldest collegiate hockey team in the South.
Tennessee competes in the American College Hockey Association and the South Eastern Collegiate Hockey Conference.
