Hy-Vee signs deal with NASCAR alongside return to Iowa Speedway in 2024

Hy-Vee has signed a deal with NASCAR as the sport returns to Iowa Speedway for the first time since 2019 this summer.

NASCAR is making its triumphant return to Iowa Speedway this summer, which includes the first Cup Series race in the track’s history. Now, the sport will have a familiar partner, as the NTT IndyCar Series has seen in Iowa. Hy-Vee has signed a deal with NASCAR Holdings, making it the official grocer of Iowa and Kansas Speedway.

Also, Hy-Vee will be able to advertise its Perks loyalty program by sponsoring the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at Iowa, which will be called the Hy-Vee Perks 250. This isn’t a shocking development, as Hy-Vee has become a prominent partner of the IndyCar Series when the racing series makes its annual trip to the venue.

This is amazing for NASCAR, as the sport has seen great success in the Midwest market. Iowa Speedway should have been on the Cup Series schedule long ago, and the hype for the weekend is through the roof. It would only make sense that Hy-Vee is part of the festivities, and it will be exciting to see how the weekend transpires in June.
