Anderson is currently ranked as the top prospect in Illinois for 2026. Last season, the 6-foot-7, 230-pound recruit appeared in ten games, catching 30 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns.

The tight end recently visited Notre Dame and Tennessee unofficially. He is also scheduled to visit Michigan State early next month. Nebraska is now the 16th school to offer Anderson a scholarship.
