How would Tennessee wing Dalton Knecht fit with the Spurs?

Should the San Antonio Spurs consider drafting Tennessee wing Dalton Knecht?

The San Antonio Spurs are going to have at least one top pick in the 2024 NBA Draft. As they look to shape their roster around Victor Wembanyama, getting the selection right will be a huge key for them. While they could look to win now, as Wembanyama is already a top talent in the NBA, they should also be trying to plan for the future.

One guy who could be a potential target for the Spurs is Tennessee wing Dalton Knecht. The 23-year-old had a great March Madness tournament. He was one of the best scorers in the nation this past year and could seriously help the Spurs’ offensive game.

The SSPN YouTube channel recently discussed Knecht’s potential fit with the Spurs.

In his first year at Tennessee (but third year of college ball at the DI level, Knecht averaged 21.7 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.8 assists while shooting 45.8% from the field and 39.7% from behind the three-point line.
