How to watch: Oregon opens the Pac-12 tournament against the Beavers

The Ducks and Beavers meet up for the third time this season in the opening round of the Pac-12 tournament in Las Vegas. Here’s how to tune in.

It wasn’t how the Ducks wanted to begin their week, but it may be a blessing in disguise.

Oregon will face Oregon State in the first round of the Pac-12 tournament this afternoon. The Ducks are a team desperate for a win and the Beavers are the perfect opponent. OSU hasn’t won since December and finished the regular season 3-27 overall and 1-17 in league play.

The Ducks also got more bad news earlier in the week was it was announced starting point guard Will Richardson will be unavailable for the tournament due to a non-COVID illness. Oregon should be all right without him against its rival, but Colorado looms in the quarterfinals and it will be there Richardson’s absence could be missed.

The Ducks and Beavers have met up twice already with Oregon coming out on top 78-76 in Corvallis and 78-56 in Eugene. Tip-off is scheduled for 2:30 p.m. in Las Vegas. Stanford and Arizona State kick off the conference tourney at noon.
