The College Football Playoff is finally here, and the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide is set to take on the No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the first round in the Rose Bowl.
This is an undefeated Alabama team (11-0) while Notre Dame’s only loss (10-1) came in the ACC Championship to another Playoff team, the Clemson Tigers. The last time these two teams met, however, was in the 2013 BCS National Championship Game, and the Tide won handily 42-14.
