How to watch Commanders vs. Jaguars: Time, TV and streaming options for Week 1

Everything you need to know to watch Sunday’s Week 1 showdown between the Washington Commanders and Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Washington Commanders kick off the 2022 NFL season on Sunday when the Jacksonville Jaguars make the trip north to FedEx Field. The Commanders opened the game as 3.5-point favorites and still remain a slight 2.5-point favorite over the Jags.

Sunday’s opener is the debut for Washington debut for quarterback Carson Wentz. On his third team in three seasons, Wentz’s final game of the 2021 season with the Indianapolis Colts was a stinker against Jacksonville.

The 2022 version of the Jaguars will look a bit different than the team from Week 18. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is back, but he has a new head coach in Doug Pederson — Wentz’s head coach for five seasons with Philadelphia. The Jaguars also added No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker to the defense.
