LSU’s women’s basketball bounced back nicely from a stunning loss to Colorado in the season opener, winning over Queens in dominating fashion 112-55.
Now, the Tigers (1-1) will be back in action on Sunday afternoon as they look to start a winning streak when they host Mississippi Valley State (0-1) at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
It will be the second top-five team the Delta Devils have faced after they opened the season with a 104-45 loss to Utah. MVSU is coming off a disastrous 2-27 season that included a 111-41 loss to LSU in November.
