Usually entering the final week of the season, the Lions are looking to play spoiler. This year, they’re using Week 18 to get healthy before hosting a playoff game for the first time in more than 30 years.
The Lions host the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 1 p.m. EST. Detroit can finish no lower than the No. 3 seed in the NFC, but a Lions win coupled with losses by both the Cowboys and Eagles would move Detroit up to the No. 2 seed.
