The Big South men’s basketball tournament, which is presented by Hercules Tires, will be from March 6-10 in High Point, North Carolina. Tickets are on sale now and feature both single-game and full tournament options.
The High Point Panthers will be the host, finishing the season atop the conference with a 24-7 record. They had a 12-game win streak during the season, so they will enter as the favorite. The home side also was a strong 15-1 throughout the regular season.

The Big South has 12 teams with Charleston, Gardner-Webb, UNC Asheville and Winthrop being among the few notable names for those that watch March Madness.
High Point will be the team to beat this season, ending the season with a 13-3 conference record. Tickets to the Panthers first game on March 8 start at $12. UNC Asheville and Gardner-Webb were the only other team to high double-figure wins with 12 and 11 respectively.
Over the last eight years, it has been Winthrop and UNC Asheville to typically take the trophy, winning five of the last eight with Longwood, Gardner-Webb and Radford each having a piece of the spotlight as well.
That said, there’s almost a 100% chance the Big South gets just one bid, and it is whoever wins this tournament, so it will be must-watch basketball over the next week.
