1.) Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
After a one-year retirement, Arians returned to the NFL in 2019 to take over as the Bucs’ head coach. The hope was that Arians could help right Jameis Winston’s career, much like he did with Carson Palmer in Arizona, but 2019 saw Winston have a season for the ages, both good and bad. He became the eighth quarter in league history to throw for 5,000 yards in a season, but also became the first player ever to throw 30 touchdowns and 30 interceptions in the same year. While his 30 picks weren’t even the most in franchise history, it was still enough for the Bucs to move on to Brady rather than reinvest in their former top pick.
