How the injury-riddled Boston Celtics beat the Philadelphia 76ers

Horford’s stellar performance, including 5 blocks and his defensive efforts against 76ers star center Joel Embiid, proved key in the Celtics’ victory.

Despite missing two key players in All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown and star Latvian big man Kristaps Porzingis, the injury-riddled Boston Celtics managed to secure a hard-fought victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on the road at Wells Fargo Center on this past Wednesday night.

In an impressive display, veteran forward Al Horford and combo guard Derrick White led the Celtics to a 117-107 win against the Sixers despite their banged-up state, showing off their dominance over their Atlantic Division rival on both ends of the court that night. Horford’s stellar performance, including 5 blocks and his defensive efforts against 76ers star center Joel Embiid, proved key in the Celtics’ victory.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “How Bout Them Celtics!” podcast took a closer look at the unexpected win against Philly on a recent episode.
