How teams since 2010 fared the season their stadium hosted the Super Bowl

With Super Bowl LV being played at Raymond James Stadium, home of the Bucs, see how other teams fared the season they hosted the big game.

2017: Minnesota Vikings (13-3)

Super Bowl LII:  U.S. Bank Stadium

Had the Vikings made it all the way to Super Bowl LII in their own stadium, it would’ve been one of the greatest sports stories ever. The Vikings finished the 2017 season with a 13-3 record, behind the stellar play of undrafted quarterback Case Keenum, who stepped in after Sam Bradford (shockingly) went down with an injury. In their divisional round showdown with the New Orleans Saints, the Vikings had perhaps the greatest walk-off touchdown in franchise history. But, their storybook season came to an end in the conference championship, where they fell to the Philadelphia Eagles, who would go on to beat Brady and the Patriots in Super Bowl LII behind their own backup quarterback Nick Foles.
