How should we grade the Boston Celtics offseason so far?

The Celtics have had a busy start to the NBA’s 2023 offseason.

So far this offseason, the Boston Celtics have made a massive splash by dealing away veteran point guard Marcus Smart for star big man Kristaps Porzingis and signing former Toronto Raptors point guard Dalano Banton and ex-Indiana Pacers forward Oshae Brissett to veteran minimum deals.

They have also signed a bevy of NBA prospects to join floor generals JD Davison and Banton on the Celtics’ 2023 Las Vegas Summer League roster. But they haven’t finalized a potential $295 million supermax contract extension with star forward Jaylen Brown. Neither have they resolved reserve forward Grant Williams’ restricted free agency.
