How should the Steelers address the cornerback position?

The Steelers have some options when it comes to addressing the cornerback position this offseason.

Once free agency begins, we will have a better understanding of just how dire things are for the Pittsburgh Steelers at the cornerback position. Most NFL draft pundits have been mocking a cornerback to the Steelers in the first round, indicating that they either don’t believe Cameron Sutton will re-sign or that he isn’t good enough to be the top cornerback even if he does.

Pittsburgh has a handful of options for addressing the position. The team could get Sutton back under contract and be done with it. Sutton would then pair up with Levi Wallace on the outside with Arthur Maulet in the slot. Basically the same setup as last season.

But if Sutton doesn’t re-sign, things get far more interesting and this is where you all come in. What should the Steelers do? Let Sutton walk and then either draft a cornerback early, sign a big-time free agent cornerback like James Bradberry or trade for a top cornerback like Jalen Ramsey.
