The AP Poll released its preseason top-25 rankings on Monday afternoon. Six SEC programs were ranked and several others received votes.
The SEC is one of the toughest conferences to play in. There are a number of competitive programs that field elite teams each and every year. Alabama, Georgia, and LSU seemingly always compete for SEC titles. Other programs like Auburn, Tennessee, and South Carolina have also had some success in the past.
The conference will be very competitive, which should never be a surprise. It will be interesting to see which program comes out on top of the SEC in December.
