The Oregon Ducks’ chances to make it into the NCAA Tournament officially came to an end on Thursday afternoon.
It’s something that was likely to happen for weeks now, but Oregon held on and continued to stay alive, at first for an at-large bid, and then later for an automatic bid via a Pac-12 tournament championship.
Those dreams are dead now after an 80-69 loss to the Colorado Buffaloes in the Pac-12 quarterfinals, and the Ducks will likely be heading to the NIT. It is a frustrating end to what was a frustrating season, but Oregon put up a fight until the very end, Here’s how the action went down.
