Perhaps over the course of their history, the play of the Buffalo Bills has left a little something to be desired. But at least, for the most part, the Bills have looked good doing so.
That’s what the folks at Inside Hook’s Uni Watch think, anyway.
Actually, their analysis even leaves some really achievable ways to improve in future rankings. But overall heading into 2020, the Bills finish at UniWatch’s No. 7 overall spot in their NFL uniform rankings:
Some folks still pine for the Bills’ red-helmeted days, but the feeling here at Uni Watch HQ has always been that they’re a blue team with red trim, not the other way around, so they shouldn’t be wearing a red lid. Their current look, introduced in 2011, is underrated and very easy on the eyes, from the white helmet on down — at least when they stick to their standard home and road combos. Docked a notch, though, for playing too many games in mono-blue and mono-red.
Mono? Basically is what Uni Watch hates is when the Bills go all blue or all red in their uniforms. And honestly, they might have something right there. When that blue or red jersey is put with a white pant, it really pops. But what’s not to debate is when the Bills bring out the standing buffalo helmet.
It’s not up for debate. There is none, it’s a beauty.
And while Uni Watch doesn’t exactly say it would appreciate a full-time return to that helmet from the Bills, that might also help Buffalo, too. Looking at the rest of their list, the top-two teams are the Raiders edging out Packers, two classic looks. But in a more, edgy, modern-day feel, the Chargers actually land in the third slot. Those baby blues are near perfect, though.
