How far did Ohio State fall in latest AP Top 25 Poll

After three straight losses, where did Ohio State land in the latest release of the college basketball AP Top 25 poll?

Did the Ohio State basketball team peak too soon? It’s kind of feeling that way after two more losses this week at the hands of Michigan State and No. 9 Iowa.

The Buckeyes have looked somewhat lackadaisical in the last two matchups after a hard-fought battle against No. 3 Michigan. After OSU lost to the Wolverines, the AP voters kept the Bucks at No. 4 in the country, but after dropping three in a row that’s no longer the case as Ohio State is now ranked No. 7 falling three spots in the latest AP Top 25 Poll.

The silver lining in all of this is that the Buckeyes still have one more regular-season game before heading into the Big Ten conference tournament. However, that last game is against No. 4 Illinois. Ohio State could very well go into the postseason on a four-game losing streak.

Here’s a look at how the AP top 10 shakes out: Gonzaga (1), Michigan (2), Baylor (3), Illinois (4), Iowa (5), West Virginia (6), Ohio State (7), Alabama (8), Houston (9), Villanova (10).
