The Seahawks were 13-3 for Mike Holmgren in 2005. They won two home playoff games and met the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Super Bowl. The Seahawks fell, 21-10. In 2006, Holmgren remained as coach and led the team to a 9-7 mark, which was good enough for first place in the NFC West. They won a Wild-Card game over Dallas before being ousted by the Chicago Bears.
