How DeAndre Jordan is making up for hitting Garrett Temple in the face vs. Pistons

DeAndre Jordan could have his hands full for a while as a result of hitting his Nets teammate, Garrett Temple, in the face on Wednesday.

Late in the first quarter of the Brooklyn Nets’ win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday, Garrett Temple took a swift hit to the face, courtesy of his rather large Brooklyn Nets teammate, DeAndre Jordan.

The Brooklyn center was trying to send back a Markieff Morris shot attempt. Jordan whiffed on the ball, but he caught a lot of Temple’s face.

The Nets wing laid down on the ground for a bit before Brooklyn’s staff attended to a cut around his left eye. But Temple would return for the Nets later on in the night after he was given 15 stitches.

However, Temple rejoining the action on Wednesday did not mean Jordan was off the hook.

In addition to the injury, Temple had to shave his entire left eyebrow to receive the stitches. According to Michael Grady of YES Network, Jordan “will have to do anything [Temple] says,” until the Brooklyn wing’s eyebrow hair grows back.
