The trade sending Lillard going to the Bucks surprised many because Milwaukee wasn’t widely considered a destination for the former Blazers star floor general.
In the deal, the Bucks gave up Jrue Holiday, a key defensive player for Milwaukee. This raises questions about its defense and how that will affect their chances in a more competitive Eastern Conference. And it raises the possibility of Boston trying to trade for Holiday as well.
