How concerned are we with the Boston Celtics’ late-season stumbles?
Star forward Jayson Tatum looks tired. Grant Williams, Robert Williams III, and Marcus Smart are banged up, off their games or both. And head coach Joe Mazzulla is occasionally still learning on the job. There are real concerns heading into the postseason.
But are worried fans making a mountain out of the proverbial molehill or are there real reasons to fret about what could happen to this club in the playoffs? While the issues lingering or creeping back into Boston’s play may not be massive ones in the scope of an entire season, the margins for error are far, far thinner for teams that hope to make it to the finals.
