How Auburn’s win at South Carolina affects its KenPom ranking

The Tigers trail just two other SEC squads in the latest KenPom rankings.

The No.16 Auburn Tigers won its fifth game in a row, which was also their third SEC road win of the season, on Saturday on the road at South Carolina.

The impressive 81-66 win was Auburn’s second win in a row of 15 points or more, mixing in with last Wednesday’s 67-49 win over LSU in Baton Rouge. The road wins are starting to add merit to Auburn’s resume, which is starting to show in their KenPom ranking.

Auburn earned the win Saturday thanks to two double-doubles from [autotag]Johni Broome[/autotag] (27 points, 11 rebounds) and [autotag]Wendell Green Jr.[/autotag] (16 points, 12 assists). [autotag]Jaylin Williams[/autotag]’ streak of scoring ten-or-more points in games extended to four following a 12-point performance, and [autotag]Allen Flanigan[/autotag] recorded eight points and ten rebounds.
