Roger McCreary, Kansas City Chiefs (Pick 50)
Todd McShay and Mel Kiper are back at it again with more mocks as the draft rolls closer, and this ESPN+ three-round mock (subscription required) has Kiper picking McCreary to head to Kansas City with the 18th pick of the second round.
The mock notes that corner Chavarius Ward’s departure to the San Fransisco 49ers leaves a gap in Kansas City’s defense that it’ll certainly hope to fix with the AFC’s high-powered offenses it has to contend with. McCreary could be a good fit for the Chiefs to fill that role, but it would be a trial by fire for the Auburn corner in such a tough division.
