The Jags are expected to be without Minshew, which means a QB matchup of Deshaun Watson for the Texans against rookie QB Jake Luton for the Jaguars. Jacksonville has lost six in a row and doesn’t appear to be turning it around. Although there is little value, take the TEXANS (-334).
Against the spread (?)
These games have been close. Despite winning eight of 10, the Texans have covered the spread in six of those matchups. Both teams are in the bottom four of the league in ATS record. Houston has covered the spread only once this season and Jacksonville has only covered twice. However, with Luton at quarterback for the Jaguars, expect a big win for the Texans.
