The Philadelphia 76ers really needed this one. Oh, it was so important for them to feel good about something away from the Wells Fargo Center.
On a night where they were again missing three starters, the Sixers got a big boost from beyond the arc. They drilled 17 of their 37 attempts from deep and they were able to hold off a late rally from the Sacramento Kings to win it 125-108 and snap a nasty road losing streak of nine games. Philadelphia is now 10-23 on the road and it’s their first road win since January 20 over the Brooklyn Nets.
Tobias Harris led the Sixers with 28 points and 14 rebounds, Shake Milton had another big game with 20 points, Al Horford had 18 points, eight rebounds, and six assists while Alec Burks and Raul Neto were big off the bench. Burks poured in 17 points and Neto had 16 points.
On top of that, Philadelphia had a 45-37 rebounding advantage despite missing Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons. It was a huge win.

This team needed this one in the worst way. They could not lose another road game and lose any more ground in the East. With the win, Philadelphia moves up to the 5 seed in the standings over the idle Indiana Pacers.
