Advice and prediction

While the Hornets preseason was accelerated, it was also a strong one as the team largely remained healthy aside from Hayward’s absence. Cleveland, meanwhile, was not able to have all of its starters or rotation players on the floor for all four games.

The Hornets want to play very fast this season and the Cavaliers were the worst defensive team last season. While the Hornets -2.5 seems like a good bet, betting over 215.5 feels like the best bet on the board.

Prediction: Hornets 120, Cavaliers 114
