The Hornets were known to be in the market for an upgrade at the center position but landed Harrell to add depth to their bench unit. Harrell now reunites with Terry Rozier, who were college teammates at Louisville.
In 46 games with the Wizards this season, Harrell averaged 14.1 points and 6.7 rebounds per game.
