The NFL has officially kicked off, and some former North Carolina Tar Heels have already made some splashes. UNC is well-represented in the NFL this season with 21 players on rosters including a few starters.
In Pittsburgh, the Steelers announced [autotag]Mitch Trubisky[/autotag] would be the quarterback in charge, while the Denver Broncos gave Javonte Williams the starting running back spot. Like Michael Carter with the New York Jets, both former UNC halfbacks will be splitting carries.
There were some touchdown-saving plays from a few key defensive players who once called North Carolina home. Overall a big week for some who represented UNC at the highest level.
