Leading up to the 2020 NFL Draft, Alabama wide receiver has “constantly” heard from the Denver Broncos, Las Vegas Raiders and San Francisco 49ers, the speedy receiver told ProFootballTalk.com’s Mike Florio this week.
Because of COVID-19, teams were not allowed to have prospects visit their facilities this offseason but they were allowed to talk to players up to one hour a day, three times a week leading up to the draft.
Denver, Las Vegas and San Francisco have apparently taken advantage of that rule to do a lot of homework on Ruggs, who ran a blazing-fast unofficial 4.27-second 40-yard dash at the NFL combine earlier this offseason.
Of the three teams that have contacted Ruggs the most, the Raiders (No. 12) will have the first chance to draft him, followed by the 49ers (No. 13) and then the Broncos (No. 15). That order could change with trades.
