Bare Knuckle FC has booked its latest main event to feature a former notable MMA name making his debut.

[autotag]Hector Lombard[/autotag] vs. [autotag]Joe Riggs[/autotag] is set to headline BKFC 10 in Miami, the promotion announced Monday on social media. BKFC 10 will take place at a yet-to-be-announced venue in Miami and stream on pay-per-view.

The booking marks the fourth straight BKFC event which has been headlined by UFC veterans. The match will mark Lombard’s promotional debut, whereas Riggs competed under its banner three times before.

Lombard, a former Bellator middleweight champion, has not competed in a fight since being released from the UFC in late 2018, though he has stayed active on the national grappling circuit.

Lombard partook in last Thursday’s Quintet Ultra in Las Vegas, representing Team PRIDE. Lombard went 1-0-1 at the event, submitting Sean O’Malley before drawing with Anthony Johnson.

In 2016, Riggs was released from his second stint with the UFC. Since then, “Diesel” has stayed active, competing on the regional MMA, bare knuckle boxing, and grappling circuits.

BKFC finished out its 2019 schedule in mid-November. BKFC 9 was headlined by Artem Lobov and Jason Knight. The main event was a rematch of their April fight. Knight evened up the series at one apiece, defeating Lobov by fifth-round corner stoppage.
