HALFTIME REPORT: Tight game in Orlando, Alabama up 33-29

Alabama is looking for W number 5!

Nate Oats has his No. 10 Alabama (4-0) team in a tight matchup with the Iona Gaels (5-0) at the ESPN Events Invitational in Orlando, leading by a score of 33-29.

Alabama hasn’t had any issues shooting the ball, overall, but free-throw shooting and 3PT field goals have certainly been subpar in this outing. The Tide has shot just 6-11 from the charity stripe and 20% from the three-point range.

The Tide has the advantage on the boards so far, the tally being 20 rebounds for the Tide to the Gaels’ 13.

Jaden Shackelford and Jahvon Quinerly lead the Crimson Tide with 10 points apiece. Shackelford has also pulled down seven rebounds and has the Tide’s only three-point shot in the game.

After a relatively low-scoring first half, the Crimson Tide should come out with an answer to the Gaels defense after the half.
