Tennessee will play at Auburn Saturday in Week 9 of a 10-game, SEC-only season.
Saturday’s contest will be the second in three years between Tennessee and Auburn. The Vols defeated Auburn, 30-24, in 2018 — Jeremy Pruitt’s first season as Tennessee’s head coach.
Ahead of the matchup, Malzahn discussed losing to Tennessee in 2018.
“That was a very, very tough loss all thing considered,” Malzahn said. “We turned the ball over, they made some plays when they had to, and we didn’t play very well that day and they had something to do with it.
“They played well. That was a tough loss, so we’re glad to have a chance to play them again.”
Tennessee and Auburn will kick off at 7 p.m. EST from Jordan-Hare Stadium. ESPN will televise the contest.
