Grant Williams may not have played on Sunday as the Boston Celtics picked up a 122-119 overtime win over the Orlando Magic but the rookie was there to cheer on his teammates.

At least, he tried to anyway.

During one timeout in the first half, Williams popped up off of the bench to greet his teammates. The gesture apparently went unnoticed and Williams was left there hanging by the likes of Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown and Marcus Smart.

The scene was very reminiscent of what happens to New Orleans Pelicans guard Josh Hart, who is notoriously left hanging often. Fortunately, Jared Weiss of The Athletic caught the moment on the broadcast and shared it afterward on social media.

Gordon Hayward led the Celtics with 31 points while Tatum added 29 points and hit a key shot with 3.8 seconds in regulation to send the game to overtime. The Celtics locked up the third seed with the win and will likely play the Philadelphia 76ers in the first round.

Hopefully, Williams can bounce back in the next game on Tuesday and get his high-fives in…
