OL Lachavious Simmons
Simmons, a four-year starter at Tennessee State, is the more experienced of the two seventh-round picks. Plus, his versatility across the offensive line — he’s played left tackle, right tackle and left guard — shouldn’t be overlooked.
Simmons should fit the role of tackle in Chicago, where he’ll provide some much needed depth behind starters Charles Leno Jr. and Bobby Massie. Plus, who knows, perhaps he’ll be groomed by Juan Castillo to ultimately succeed one of those guys.
Grade: C+
What do you think, Bears fans? How would you grade Chicago’s selection of Simmons?
