The New York Giants were back in East Rutherford on Monday following their Week 9 victory over the Washington Football Team and they were re-joined by wide receiver Golden Tate.

“He was back in there with us today working. We’re not going to have the players in the building tomorrow, but they’ll be able to come in to work out,” head coach Joe Judge told reporters. “Then Wednesday we’ll be on the field for practice, so he’ll definitely be out there practicing with us. Like all of our players, we’re going to have plans for these guys within the game plan.

“If you’re asking me specifically about him being active for the game, I would anticipate Golden being active. I have no reason to believe he wouldn’t be active at this point. But we’re going to go through this week and kind of see how everything goes with everybody on the team and see where everything lays out.”

Tate had been left behind over the weekend as a disciplinary measure after he publicly complained about his lack of targets during a Monday night loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8.

After the game, Tate’s wife also took aim at the Giants and chastised them for his lacking role.

Initially, Tate had been told to stay home during last Wednesday’s practice but was permitted to return on both Thursday and Friday. However, he was relegated to scout team duties where he simulated Washington wide receiver Terry McLaurin.

Tate has yet to discuss his situation with the media and has stayed clear of the topic on social media.

In seven games this season, Tate has hauled in 22 receptions for 226 yards and two touchdowns.
