Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers swap uniforms in latest crossover jersey concept

While we wait for the NBA and NFL to return, the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco 49ers got a uniform crossover swap via Digitalize.

Over the past several seasons, fans of Bay Area sports teams have enjoyed a bounty of success. From the Oakland A’s and San Francisco Giants making runs at the playoffs to the Golden State Warriors competing in five consecutive Finals, there has been a lot of winning in the Bay Area.

When the Warriors suffered a down season in 2019-20, their new San Francisco neighbors took a trip to the Super Bowl. After drafting second overall in 2019, Kyle Shanahan’s San Francisco 49ers made a run from worst to first in the NFC West. The 49ers blitzed through the playoffs before facing off with Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Cheifs.

Although the 49ers lost Super Bowl LIV to the Cheifs, the team provided fireworks in the Bay Area while Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson were dealing with injuries.

As the sports world waits for the NBA to return and the start of NFL training camp to begin, Digitalize provided a look at what the 49ers and Warriors would look like if they traded jerseys and colorways. Graphic designer Jordan Fortin Belanger designed uniforms with Jimmy Garoppolo wearing blue and yellow and Curry donning red and white.

While the NBA season has been on hold, updated jersey concepts have been popular across the internet. Along with the 49ers crossover and a new set of Golden Gate Bridge uniforms, the Warriors have received superhero and Disney themed makeovers.
