The losing streak is over. For at least one week, the New York Giants figured out how to close out a win and tasted victory. They had to go to overtime to do so, but at Caesars Superdome, the Giants found a way to get the win, as they defeated the New Orleans Saints, 27-21.
The two biggest parts of the offense ended up being two of the biggest contributors that helped notch the first win.
Daniel Jones, who went 28-of-40 for 402 yards and threw two touchdowns with one pick. He had a 52-yard touchdown pass to John Ross, who made his season debut for the Giants.

The other touchdown pass from Jones was a 54-yard pass to Saquon Barkley.

Barkley had the game-winning score from six yards out. That touchdown was set up by a 23-yard catch by Kenny Golladay.

Barkley, who is coming off of a year away from football after undergoing ACL surgery, had 13 carries for 52 yards and a touchdown. He also had five catches for 74 yards and a touchdown, which gave him 126 total yards for the game.
The Giants desperately needed a game like this from both of their stars and with them visiting the 3-1 Dallas Cowboys next week. They picked a great time to get off the winless streak and notch their first win of 2021.
