The New York Giants (2-8) will visit the Chicago Bears (4-6) at Soldier Field on Sunday in a game that could officially result in Big Blue’s elimination from the playoffs.
Opening the week, the Giants were listed as 6.5-point road underdogs and nothing has changed entering the weekend as the spread sits at +6.5.
Let’s take a look at who some of the experts and insiders around the league are taking in the Week 12 matchup:
Expert | Pick | Score (if applicable) |
Mike Golic (ESPN) | Bears | N/A |
Louis Riddick (ESPN) | Bears | N/A |
Dan Graziano (ESPN) | Bears | N/A |
Pete Prisco (CBS) | Bears | 20-13 |
Jason La Canfora (CBS) | Giants | N/A |
Ryan Wilson (CBS) | Giants | N/A |
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) | Bears | 23-20 |
Lorenzo Reyes (USA TODAY) | Bears | 17-14 |
Tadd Haislop (Sporting News) | Bears | 20-17 |
Vinnie Iyer (Sporting News) | Bears | 30-14 |
There was no real set expectation when Week 12 picks and predictions were being compiled, but there is some level of surprise seeing two CBS Sports guys picking the Giants to beat Chicago on the road. They were, of course, among the precious few, but there are those out there anticipating an upset.
As far as those predicting a score, Nate Davis and Lorenzo Reyes are sticking with the same exact projection they’ve had over the Giants’ past three games. That’s lazy, gentlemen. Step it up.
How does Giants Nation feel? Are you feeling win No. 3 on the season or bracing yourself for consecutive loss No. 7?
