Giants stun Titans with thrilling comeback: Here’s how Twitter Reacted

The New York Giants stunned the Titans with a wild comeback victory in Week 1, and here’s how Twitter reacted (it was a rollercoaster).

The New York Giants headed down to Nashville to take on the Tennessee Titans in their season opener. Early on it seemed the Giants were going to fall short but a gutty comeback was in store for Big Blue.

The Giants fell behind early and trailed at halftime, 13-0, but the Giants quickly came back in the third quarter to tie it up behind big plays by Saquon Barkley and Sterling Shepard.

With 10:38 in the 4th quarter the Giants got a break they needed when they recovered a muffed punt deep in Titans territory. Shortly after that, Daniel Jones threw an interception to end the drive.

The Giants would get another opportunity and they made the best of it. After driving down the field and pulling within one (20-19) on a pass to Chris Myrick, head coach Brian Daboll made the gutsy call to go for two. A pass to Barkley put Big Blue ahead.

The Titans would drive down the field and get within field goal range to set up the game winner. The kick went wide left and Big Blue got Daboll his first win of his career.

There were some good things from Big Blue, especially in the second half, and it was a heck of a comeback to watch for the Giants’ first Week 1 win in what seems like forever.

Let’s see how twitter reacted (in chronological order):
