Despite losing to the Dallas Cowboys and falling to 4-10 on the season, the New York Giants did not drop in the USA TODAY power rankings.

The New York Giants fell to the Dallas Cowboys, 21-6, in Week 15. That dropped their record to 4-10 on the season, securing double-digit losses for the fifth consecutive year and seventh of the last eight.

The futility will ultimately lead to some major offseason changes, likely beginning with general manager Dave Gettleman. But what it didn’t change was the Giants’ standing in the latest USA TODAY power rankings.

Big Blue stood pat at No. 26 overall.

26. Giants (26): Welp, Daniel Jones, your season is over. Have this free medium soda and get healthy. Meanwhile, this organization has all the film it’s going to get before deciding whether to pick up the quarterback’s fifth-year option and commit to him financially for two more years.

The question about Daniel Jones’ future is a fair one. He wasn’t necessarily given a fair shake but it may be time for the Giants to completely start over.

Meanwhile, thanks to the Giants, the Dallas Cowboys rose three spots to No. 4 overall. That ranking does not feel warranted given their play in recent weeks.

The Philadelphia Eagles dropped one spot to No 16 overall and the Washington Football Team slid four spots to No. 23 overall.

Unsurprisingly, the Jacksonville Jaguars remain firmly planted at No. 32 overall. Ditto the Green Bay Packers at No. 1 overall.
