Giants sign entire draft class, release Aldrick Rosas

The New York Giants have announced the signing of their entire 2020 draft class and officially released kicker Aldrick Rosas.

The New York Giants signed the remaining nine players of their 2020 NFL Draft class on Monday and made several other roster moves.

The draft choices who officially became Giants are first-round choice Andrew Thomas, the offensive tackle from Georgia; Alabama safety Xavier McKinney, the team’s second rounder; UConn tackle Matt Peart (third round); UCLA defensive back Darnay Holmes (fourth); Oregon offensive lineman Shane Lemieux (fifth); Penn State linebacker Cam Brown (sixth) and three seventh-round selections: linebackers Carter Coughlin of Minnesota, T.J. Brunson of South Carolina and cornerback Chris Williamson of Minnesota.

Georgia linebacker Tae Crowder, the 255th and final selection in the draft, was signed in May.

Additionally, the Giants officially announced the release of kicker Aldrick Rosas and waived rookie cornerback Malcolm Elmore with a non-football injury.

With the release of Elmore and Rosas and the transfer of DeAndre Baker to the commissioner’s exempt list, the Giants’ roster is now at 87 players including the players signed on Monday.
