Giants select OT Andrew Thomas with fourth pick; will Bucs trade up?

Will the Tampa Bay Buccaneers look to trade up to grab one of this year’s top-ranked tackles in the NFL draft?

The New York Giants entered tonight’s NFL draft looking for help along the O-line to protect quarterback Daniel Jones and running back Saquon Barkley. Holding the fourth pick, it seemed New York would get its pick of tackles, and they opted for Andrew Thomas out of Georgia, who many pegged as the fourth-best tackle in this class, though perhaps the most pro-ready.

Ever since Tom Brady signed with the Bucs, mock drafts had the Bucs taking a tackle with the 14th pick in round one, with Thomas being the guy almost every time. It’s definitely a surprise, and it also means the other big three tackles — Jedrick Wills, Tristan Wirfs and Mekhi Becton — could go quickly.

Will the Bucs have to pay a steep price to move up to draft one?
