Joe Schoen decided to have a tremendous first night of the 2022 NFL draft as the New York Giants’ general manager.
With the fifth pick, the Giants took Kayvon Thibodeaux. And with the seventh overall pick, the team selected Alabama offensive tackle Evan Neal.
Neal was considered perhaps the best offensive lineman in the draft and at one time, was a candidate for the No. 1 overall pick.
