The New York Giants head into Sunday hoping to end a seven-game losing streak, but that will not be an easy task as they go up against the Green Bay Packers.
The Giants will be lining up against one of the best quarterbacks in the league when they welcome Aaron Rodgers and the ‘Pack’ to MetLife Stadium on Sunday.
According to BetMGM, the Giants remain 6.5-point underdogs, just as they were when the line opened up earlier this week.
It’s surprising to some the spread is less than a touchdown considering the Giants’ current status. Given the fact that they were 6-point road underdogs against the Chicago Bears, many thought the spread against the Packers would surly be more than a touchdown, even at home.
The over/under is now at 45.5 — a full point less than when the odds came out on Monday.
The Giants have only covered the spread four times this season. The fact that the Packers got blown out this past Monday night against the San Francisco 49ers doesn’t help Big Blue as this game is an important rebound game for the Green Bay.
The Giants will certainly be up against it on Sunday as they look for their first win since Week 4 against the Washington Redskins. They will certainly have to limit the turnovers in this matchup as you can bet Aaron Rodgers will take advantage of any extra opportunities he is given.
