Giants remain 5.5-point road underdogs vs. Titans

Entering the weekend, the New York Giants remain 5.5-point road underdogs against the Tennessee Titans in Week 1.

The betting line for Sunday’s interconference season opener between the New York Giants and the Tennessee Titans remains unchanged from midweek, per Tipico.

The Titans continue to be 5.5-point favorites over the visiting Giants (down from 6.5 a week ago) with the over/under holding steady at 43.5 points.

Last season, the Giants went 6-11 against the spread and were 4-13 overall. The under prevailed in 11 of the Giants’ contests with five going over and one game resulting in a ‘push.’

The Giants failed to score 30 points in a single game last year and only eclipsed 20 points in six of their 17 games.

The Titans finished 12-5 in 2021 and went 10-7 against the spread. The under prevailed in nine their 17 regular season contests last year.

Since 2011, the Giants are 1-10 straight up in season openers with the only victory coming in 2016.
