New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning is a known beer drinker. In fact, his former teammate, kicker Lawrence Tynes, recently told a story about how Manning had a beer guy in every single stadium across the league.
While running back Rashad Jennings refuted that story, Manning now has his very own beer thanks to Source Brewing in New Jersey.
The relatively young Colts Neck company is set to a release a new brew, “ELItie Tribute,” which is an Imperial North East India Pale Ale brewed in honor of Easy E. It’s said to be “bursting with notes of tangerine, blueberry, red Starburst candy, ripe peaches, and roses.”
The ELIte Tribute was available for pre-sale on the Source Brewing website for $18 per four-pack (limit one per customer), but sold out by Tuesday afternoon.
If you’re unable to get your hands on a four-pack, the ELIte Tribute is expected to be available at the Asbury Park Beerfest on Saturday, January 25, and Sunday, January 26.
