The New York Giants have announced their practice squad protections ahead of a Week 11 game with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and wide receiver/return man Pharoh Cooper was among the four.

The Giants signed Cooper to the practice squad earlier this month and elevated him for a Week 9 game against the Las Vegas Raiders. He served as their return man, returning three kicks for 45 yards and two punts for 26 yards.

Cooper is likely to be elevated again on Monday night and serve as the team’s starting returner.

In addition to Cooper, the Giants also protected tight end Chris Myarick, linebacker Trent Harris and cornerback Jarren Williams.

Harris has been a protection and elevation over the previous two weeks (bye week excluded) and like Cooper, is an expected elevation in Week 11.

Williams is a second-time protection this season. With the Buccaneers thin at cornerback, the Giants are likely just using an abundance of caution.

Finally, Myarick has been protected for the fifth time this season.
